Samuel Mathekga

Samuel Mathekga brings a rich background in aeronautical engineering, specializing in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), to his role as a research engineer at the Centre for High Performance Computing (CHPC) in South Africa. Tasked with overseeing computational mechanics applications on the Lengau cluster, Samuel’s expertise is not limited to the technical realm. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, and a Master of Science in Computational Fluid Dynamics from Cranfield University, United Kingdom. Currently, he is expanding his knowledge base by pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science at Stellenbosch University. Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Samuel is deeply committed to community outreach and training, dedicating his efforts to uplift African communities through education and technology.
